Counselling and Clinical Supervision Service

Supervision – A Space for Growth, Reflection, and Professional Support

Supervision is a vital part of safe, ethical counselling practice. It offers a protected space where you can pause, breathe, and explore your work with a supervisor who understands the emotional, relational, and practical demands of the therapeutic role. My approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and a commitment to helping you grow as a practitioner.

A Supportive, Relational Approach to Supervision

Just as in therapy, supervision thrives on trust and connection. When you feel safe, understood, and accepted, meaningful reflection becomes possible, allowing you to deepen your practice, strengthen your confidence, and maintain your wellbeing as a counsellor. This relational foundation mirrors the therapeutic principles described in your counselling page, where safety and acceptance enable real change.

Integrative, Flexible, and Tailored to Your Modality

As an Integrative Counsellor and qualified Clinical Supervisor, I draw on a blend of therapeutic and supervisory approaches to support you in a way that aligns with your modality, your client work, and your professional development goals. This mirrors your integrative therapeutic approach, where you use a blend of methods to help clients make sense of their experiences and reconnect with their strengths.

Supervision sessions can include:

  • Case exploration
  • Ethical reflection
  • Skills development
  • Professional identity building
  • Emotional support and resilience
  • Space to explore challenges, successes, and stuck points

Supervision for Counsellors Working With Neurodiversity

My lived experience supporting Autism and ADHD within my family gives gives me a unique, compassionate insight into neurodiversity and the emotional landscape surrounding it. I offer supervision that is neurodiversity‑affirming, respectful, and grounded in real‑world understanding, supporting counsellors who work with neurodivergent clients or who are neurodivergent themselves.

A Safe, Non‑Judgemental Space for Practitioners

Supervision should feel steady, grounding, and supportive, a place where you can explore your work openly and safely. This mirrors the therapeutic environment you describe, where clients are encouraged to explore their inner world with confidence and clarity.

I offer:

  • A warm, steady supervisory presence
  • Space to reflect at your own pace
  • Encouragement to grow into your full professional potential
  • Support in managing emotional load and practitioner wellbeing
