My name is Gill Gillespie, I am a qualified integrative counsellor, I am also registered as a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. Being an integrative counsellor allows me to build unique sessions to cater for your specific aims and needs. Some of the theories I will use in our sessions will be Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Personal Construct Theory and Transactional Analysis (TA) to name a few.
Do you feel overwhelmed, living with feelings of sadness, anxiety, depression, grief or trauma? Struggling to live in the here and now, due to past traumas or always thinking about what's next? From our very first conversation you will be offered a non-judgemental and empathic space to be heard.
Our sessions will allow you to explore, understand yourself, and challenge your own inner critic and help promote growth from within.
My main focus is to help individuals heal, energise, and become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customising sessions based around each client's aims and needs from counselling. Online counselling can fit around you and your home life. Online therapy allows a counsellor and client to work in many of the same ways as you do in a face to face session but in the comfort of your own home or safe space.
I promise to be there for you every step of your journey. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life. To be able to use the skills and understanding you gain from our sessions and to be able to use them when continuing your journey.
